GrandView Bells N Whistles free jumping photo shoot

Bullet was taken down to Abbie Cerchi’s place at Eringa Vale Stud a couple of weeks ago to see what he was like over a free jumping fence. He impressed us from the moment we hooked the float on. Its only the second time he has been away from home ever and he was put in a stable by himself…and had mares walking back and forth past him and he coped with it all like a gentleman. And can Bullet jump….well we think he can..! Bullet is the only palomino in the world by 2 times Olympic Champion Big Star, who was ridden by Nick...

This magnificent colt who is the only pure warmblood dilute by Sezuan in the southern hemisphere, has been sold to the prominent NSW dressage rider Lizzie Wilson-Fellows. We are very much looking forward to following the career of this lovely colt and look forward to seeing Lizzie take him to the dressage heights…including hopefully DWTS in the next year or...

GrandView Colour of Fame under saddle

This beautiful palomino warmblood filly was sold to Chrissie Hoffman in Brisbane mid last year. Chrissie has had Prim put under saddle and is progressing well with her towards a career in dressage. It is always wonderful to see the young horses we have bred going under saddle with their new owners and seeing their...

GrandView Momentum (Mink) goes to his new home

Rather a double edged sword that Mink has gone to his new home. He is such a fun horse to have around…and it now leaves me without a horse to go eventing..! On the up side….the lovely young rider Suzanna Koch has bought herself a really lovely horse. I knew from the moment she jumped on him in our arena that she was going to do well with this horse….she time and time again had Mink gee’d up to produce his big trot..! Very much looking forward to seeing Suzanna out and about on...

Jamie Coman….Clinic 2….and 2 horses

September clinic and Tara and I headed back over to Jamies for another week clinic. This time we both did a convoy and took 2 horses each. Both Mink and Shooter jumped very well. Shooter obviously was the superstar but Mink also proved that he has a pretty good jump in him as...

Boot camp with Yona Lloyd

Tara and I headed to Victoria yet again…..this time it was for Werribee Horse Trials….but we stopped off at Yona Lloyd’s place on the way to do some tune up boot camp with the horses. It blew an absolute gale for all but one day of the while time we were there…but thankfully no rain like our previous visit to Ballarat. Yona had us tuned up and humming along in no time flat….it was a lot of hard work but one heck of a lot of fun. Highly recommend Yona for coaching in any of the eventing...

The beginning of our coaching journey with Jamie Coman

Tara and I on the road again to Victoria….and yes it has been commented that maybe we have moved there…but no, we just keep going back…this time to Seymour where we spent the week training with Jamie Coman. What an inspiration this man is…! Tara and I had one heck of a week with Jamie….learnt a lot….and have lots to work on. Made me realise what a fabulous horse that I really do have….I kind of already knew that anyway. Shooter absolutely jumped his socks off and produced some just incredible work....

Drenched in the downpour at Ballarat Horse Trials

Another trip east for Tara Fuller and myself with the golden kids. It started raining just as we left on Thursday….and did not stop until late Friday night….guess which day I had to ride…Yep…Friday…! We saddled Mink on the float…..got soaked warming up and rode in the torrential rain…as you can see from the photos…and put Mink straight back on the float afterwards. To his credit he did a beautiful test and was VERY happy to be on the float in the dry with his hay bag. Just went and got our...

GrandView Fox In Sox wins Wistow Winter Series

Shooter won the 2019 Wistow Winter Series High Point contest. He didnt make it easy for me though. There was Shooter and another horse that was neck and neck through the whole series. On the first competition on the last week of the series the organisers hung the trophy rugs on the fence and Shooter just didnt think this was right at all…was not going to go anywhere near them….so we had a stop in that round which only earnt me one point for that round. Thankfully we hung on by the skin of our teeth….one point only…to...
