GrandView Colour of Fame1

GrandView Colour of Fame is a gorgeous palomino filly by the exciting cremello eventing stallion Crowns Ace of Pearl (IFS) (Crowns Blue Pearl/ A-Dur/ Argentinus) out of a Grand Prix dressage mare by Donnerheist (Imp) (Donnerhall/ Wendekries)/ Ludendorf (imp) mare.

This filly is a gorgeous and exceptionally unusual dappled chocolate palomino. She has the perfect blaze and two white socks.

She has the bloodlines that will see her excel in any of the Olympic disciplines. She will stand out in the dressage arena and with her dam’s movement and pedigree this filly should be able to follow in her mothers footsteps and be very competitive at FEI level dressage.

Crown’s Ace of Pearl has everything you could ask for in a stallion: handsome looks, excellent breeding lines, athletic scopey ability, fabulous temperament, great teach ability & outstanding conformation. Ace is by Crown’s Blue Pearl an approved Cremello warnblood stallion born 2001 currently jumping 1.40 in Denmark.

Ace’s Dam line includes Denmark’s legendary A-Dur whose international jumping career included amongst other things winning a silver at CSIO Nations cup in Bratislava in 1998 aand a gold in Falsterbo, Sweden in 2000. A-Dur not only proved to be an excellent show jumper he also became an Elite Stallion for the long list of talented horses he sired including the very successful danish warmblood mare Andante who has won two World Cup Qualifiers with Tina Lund for Denmark.

A-Dur is by the legendary Argentinus 2005 Hanoverian Stallion of the year, who led the FN statistics for his age group for the sum of prize money earned by his off spring for an astounding seven years!

Crystal’s dam is a very well performed dressage horse, competing at successfully up to FEI Intermediate I. Bella was part of the SA state dressage squad in 2006 to 2008 and again in 2009.

Bella’s grand dam is Donnerhall. Donnerhall is one of the greatest dressage sires of this century. An Oldenburg liver chestnut standing 16.3 hands, he had flowing, supple gaits. He was not known so much for his gaits as his rideability and talent for dressage. Donnerhall died in 2002, but he left a legacy. Donnerhall is one of the most influential breeding stallions in dressage.

Donnerhall wasn’t just a great breeding stallion. He showed that it is possible to combine a successful breeding career with a competitive career. With rider Karin Rehbein he achieved phenomenal success in the dressage ring, winning over 30 international grand prix, grand prix special, and freestyle classes. He retired in 1998, after many years at the top of international level dressage.

Crystal is registered with The ACE Group and we expect she will mature around the 16.2hh + mark.

Sold to an outstanding dressage home in Qld.

Prim (as she is now known as) is now under saddle and going beautifully.
