SOLD – GrandView Karved in Gold

Posted on Apr 8, 2016 in Progeny, Sold Horses

GrandView Karved in Gold (Kado) is by the exceptional perlino Akhal Teke, Kambarbay out of the mare Abbadaire Wanita (Weltmeyer / Du / Copernicus).

Akhal Tekes are well known for their athleticism, intelligence, stamina and bravery. The breed is also well known for their “metallic shimmering coat”.

Kado is no exception…! He is an exciting individual who is showing great intelligence and is certainly athletic, all wrapped up in a coat that looks like it is on fire when the sun shines on it.
Will mature approx 16-16.1hh and is a powerhouse of movement.

Wasn’t planning on selling this colt but we only have a quite small property which makes keeping colts rather challenging…so just putting it out there to see if there is genuine interest in this colt. If not sold his intended career choice will be eventing for which he is exceptionally well suited.

Even though it is difficult to see in the photos, he has 4 white stockings and a blaze, which he would no doubt pass onto his progeny, as his sire Kambarbay has passed onto him.
His temperament is exceptional…he is first at the gate for a scratch. He is well handled…wash, catch, tie up, lead, rug, trim.

Kado has started his pre-breaker work with a Level 2 FEI Dressage Coach and is showing to be super intelligent and trainable. The trainer is very impressed with him and is confident that he would easily be able to do FEI level pure dressage.

A great investment as either a future breeding stallion prospect and/or a purpose bred performance horse prospect.

Available for international purchase.
