IMG_1403 (1024x786)Kanndarco is a lightly-modeled performance type from an international bloodline combination. Kanndarco jumps in a magnificent manner with first-class leg technique and an almost unlimited scope. He has rare alternative bloodlines combined with a determined attitude. In 2016 he completed his 14-day performance test in Schlieckau and was the jumping winner of his age group with a score of 9,5.

His sire Kannan was himself internationally successful with Francois Mathy Jun and Michel Hécard and has produced over 200 international show jumping horses, including the Olympic Champion Nino des Buissonets/Steve Guerdat (SUI). Kannan has also been placed in the top group of the world WBFSH ranking for years. Kannan is currently number 2 in the World Showjumping Breeding Rankings, after being in the top 4 for the last four years. When we assess these rankings and look at only stallions that are alive and covering he is number 1, and by a large margin. This proves that Kannan is no one horse stallion and is producing offspring in large numbers that are all competitive at the highest level. There is not a week that goes by without a Kannan offspring placing or winning at the highest level in Europe.

Dam sire Darco led the world WBFSH ranking of show jumping sires for years. In the survey of the world’s top 75 jumping sires that appears in the French publication, Monneron 2007-2008, Darco stars, coming in third best sire in the world, with 35 CSI winners.

On the WBFSH Stallion rankings for 2007, Darco ranks number one, with 5722 points based on all the horses in the FEI/WBFSH Horse Rankings.

With Ludo Philippaerts/BEL, he was placed in Grand Prix, show jumping Nations Cups and World Cups and produced with Sapphire/McLain Ward/USA, Valentina vd Heike/Jos Lansink/BEL, Winningmood/Luciana Diniz/POR and Parco/Ludo Philippaerts etc., absolute top stars of the show jumping sport.

Kosta is out of our mare GrandView Splashback (IFS) who is by Sanyo (IFS Dec) out of a Moselfisher/TB mare.
Splashback has an impressive lineage and is by the gorgeous Sanyo is described as a pinto stallion with a special personality. An harmonious silhouette, good size, an elastic sequence of movements in all gaits, a jumper willing to perform, even when the odds are up and, of course, his especially interesting color. Sanyo was the centre of attention twice on the Vechta auction stage: First at the Elite Foal Auction in 2003 where he caused furious bidding and again, two years later, as a freshly licensed young stallion who brought the second highest price at the Stallen Market during the 2005 Oldenburg licensing, selling for 110,000 Euros. In 2006 he passed his 30-day test in Prussendorf and in 2008 the 70-day test in Neustadt/Dosse. He has won and placed in novice (A) level tests for young show jumpers.
Sanyo’s sire, Semper, was the 1997 Champion Stallion of the Pinto Verband. A son of Sandro, who competed in sport up to advanced (S) level, and grandson of the well-known pinto, Samber (who competed in dressage and show jumping up to advanced (S) level).

Splashback’s dam is by the great Moselfischer out of a thoroughbred mare. Moselfischer was imported to Australia in 1983 and is a 17.1hh Registered Imported Hanoverian stallion who’s progeny have been well sort after by enthusiasts in both Australia and the international market. This impressive stallion produced outstanding progeny with all the attributes of a modern performance horse: expressive movement, superb jumping ability, good rideability and incredible temperaments. Moselfischer himself competed successfully in Prix St George and Show Jumping, and shares the breeding lines with internationally recognised Champion sire Stakkato, famous dressage horse Slibovitz and impressive Celle State Stud stallion Sherlock Holmes. Moselfischer’s sire, Mozart stood at stud in Celle, West Germany.

This foal has show jumping or eventing super star written all over him, with his bloodlines having some of the very best jumping stallions. Kosta is offered as either a gelding or stallion prospect.

He can be available on payment plan to coincide with his weaning or finance is available through Christina Slingsby at Equine Finance Solutions. This colt would be worth getting your friends together and syndicating as he is certainly a prospect for the future that would bring a very good return on investment as a stallion prospect.
