Rising 3yo chestnut warmblood filly. Mature approx 16-16.1hh. By Sanyo (IFS) (Sandro, Samber, Pablo) out of a Brilliant Invader mare.

A lovely uphill filly with excellence in bloodlines, temperament and movement for her to be able to excel at any of the olympic disciplines.

Sanyo as a freshly licensed young stallion brought the second highest price at the Stallen Market during the 2005 Oldenburg licensing, selling for 110,000 Euros. In 2006 he passed his 30-day test in Prussendorf and in 2008 the 70-day test in Neustadt/Dosse. He has won and placed in novice (A) level tests for young show jumpers.

Squeak Bloodlines

Sanyo is strong moving and producing strong type foals, many being awarded premiums by several Verbands.
His sire, Semper, was the 1997 Champion Stallion of the Pinto Verband. A son of Sandro, who competed in sport up to advanced (S) level, and grandson of the well-known pinto, Samber (who competed in dressage and show jumping up to advanced (S) level), he proved to be a good sire, presenting many champion foals at various shows. He is also the sire of Special Design, Semper Idem GH and Sempatico M (USA) who are also licensed. His dam, Morena, competed in dressage. Her half-brother, Sommersby (by Strohmann xx) placed in medium (M) level show jumping classes.

The strong moving dam’s sire, Pablo (today in USA) was a colorful stallion personality in young years, winning tests for young jumpers in series and successfully participating in the Bundeschampionat.

Brilliant Invader needs no introduction to the Australian and New Zealand market, being the sire of many well performed horses in all of the Olympic disciplines.
Brilliant Invader’s pedigree contains all those famous Thoroughbred jumping stallions: Phalaris, Son-in-Law, Bay Ronald and Precipitation – his dam was by one of the last sons of Precipitation, Agricola, who also sired Vicki Roycroft’s Apache – a winner of the Grand Prix of Rome.

Brilliant Invader continues to exert an influence around the world, he is the dam sire of William Fox-Pitt’s Parklane Hawk, a winner at Rolex Kentucky and Burghley. Another class eventer Black Tie Affair out of the same mare, Dee Bee Lady, is in the UK with Oliver Townend.

In the showjumping world he continues to make a mark, with Dunstan Delphi ridden by Katie McVean at Lexington, and then sold for a mega mega price to the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation, out of a Brilliant Invader mare, Flower Power, that had been ridden by her father, Jeff.
Wendy Schaeffer also has a number of very well performed 4* eventers by Brilliant Invader, including her 4* horses Koyuna Sun Dancer, Koyuna Sun Shine and Koyuna Sun Storm.

With these bloodlines and the string of champion horses with these bloodlines, GrandView Spring Fair cannot help but be a performance horse with a big future.

Priced to sell at $8500.
