Buckskin gelding
Born 1 November 2012

Mature approx. 16.3hh-17.0hh. ACE & Dilutes Australia registered.

Mink is a tall strong gelding who is exceptionally well proportioned, with big, expressive movement. He has the lovely cruisey & curious nature of his dam, together with an impressive lineage that will be sure to hold him in good stead as a striking sport horse of the future!

Mink is by the beautiful cremello Milky Way (IFS), who is Dutch approved and Elite awarded with Europees Stamboek as well as German approved & Premium awarded with ECHA.

Milky Way's sire, Mascarpone GF, was the first Cremello Warmblood stallion was awarded a license for Warmblood breeding. He unfortunately died much too young but left many premium awarded offspring that have all inherited his wonderful character, outstanding and elastic movement and great jumping ability.

Milky Way's dam competed successfully in dressage and jumping to the M level. She retired from competition at age of 10 and has only produced premium awarded foals.

Marscapone has some of the great jumping sires in his very Hannoverian-dominated pedigree. Carefully line-bred on his dam’s side, he combined the famous line of the Trakehner MARDUC, who is famous for siring horses of great rideability and Dressage talent, with his grandfather Morgengold I’s blood, who is a top Showjumping stallion in Ireland.

On Marscapone’s dam-sire’s side is PHILIPPO, who has won through to S level (4th) Dressage as well as combining predominantly jumping blood. 4-times line-breeding to the outstanding Jumping-sire FERDINAND combined with famous sires DOMSPATZ and GRANDE to complete the picture of a supreme pedigree.

Mink’s dam is by the great Moselfischer out of a thoroughbred mare. Moselfischer was imported to Australia in 1983 and is a 17.1hh Registered Imported Hanoverian stallion who’s progeny have been well sort after by enthusiasts in both Australia and the international market. This impressive stallion produced outstanding progeny with all the attributes of a modern performance horse: expressive movement, superb jumping ability, good rideability and incredible temperaments.

Moselfischer himself competed successfully in Prix St George and Show Jumping, and shares the breeding lines with internationally recognised Champion sire Stakkato, famous dressage horse Slibovitz and impressive Celle State Stud stallion Sherlock Holmes.

Moselfischer's sire, Mozart stood at stud in Celle, West Germany. Mozart has sired 110 stud mares in the 10 years from 1972 to 1982. These 110 mares are registered with the Hanoverian Warmblood Breeder's Association in Germany. Thirteen of the Stud mares have been issued with the special state Premium Certificate (STATE PREMIUM MARES).

Moselfischer's Dam, has born 7 live foals in eight breeding year's. Senny has won many 1a (first) and 1 (first) places at Mare Shows and several of her daughters are known as highly distinguished Stud Mares.

Mink has just been slowly started under saddle with sensational young dressage rider Dani Steffanuti and he is responding beautifully to the breaking process. He is being bought along slowly and is proving that he certainly has the moves to make either a top level dressage horse or a jumping or eventing choose the discipline.

With these performance greats in his bloodlines GrandView Momentum certainly has the headstart to a great and enviable career, with the added bonus of a glorious golden coat that will attract attention where ever he is competing! He is available now for sale to the discerning buyer looking for that competition edge! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to secure this outstanding gelding!
